Summer 2021 Local Care Resources & Staffing Plan

The Student Health Center will be closed from Friday, May 21, until August 16, 2021. Students needing assistance should email health@humboldt.edu or leave a message at 707-826-5036. These messages will be checked 1-2 times per week so it may take several days to get a reply.

 

Other services are available in the community:


COVID-19 Testing

1. Health Quest (in the Great Hall) will be available for students through  May 31. Hours are 9:30 a.m. -12 p.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Health Quest will remain open through the summer for faculty, staff, and student employees.

If an individual has medical insurance, OptumServe will bill the patient’s medical insurance company. Uninsured individuals may also use the community test site and their tests will be paid for by the state.

 

3. Walgreens, CVS and several other pharmacies provide covid testing locally. 


Telehealth

FONEMED, a free After-Hours Nursing Advice line, at 877-256-3534 will be available over the summer for students.
