Limited Student Services Available During Summer Break

Humboldt State will maintain limited student services as the summer break gets underway. Please note the open times and availability below. Campus remains closed to the public.


Dining Services:

  • Campus Marketplace will be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and will be closed weekends.

  • All other dining services are closed.


Oh SNAP!: 

  • Oh SNAP! is open for the summer, and will be providing pre-made food bags once a week, Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. 

  • Food pickup is available by appointment if you’re unable to make that time. Please email

  • Students who have questions or need support with CalFresh can join Health Educator Ravin Craig is for virtual office hours on Fridays from 2-4 p.m. Visit the Oh SNAP! website for a link to the zoom meeting. 


Paycheck Pickup:

  • Paper paycheck pickup is available at the Parking Kiosk weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.


HSU Bookstore:

  • The Bookstore remains open for remote customer services including course materials ordering.

  •  Online sales for all other items receive free shipping if more than $65.


Student Health Center:

  • The Student Health Center will provide limited in-person acute services through Friday, May 22, 9:15 a.m.-noon, 1-4:15 p.m. 

  • Telehealth services will continue through May 29. Contact the Health Center for these services at 707-826-3146.

  • The Student Health Center will be closed for summer break beginning June 1. 

  • Students needing assistance should email or leave a message at 707-826-5036. 

  • Summer reception hours have been increased and messages will be checked 2-3 days per week. A medical provider will work as needed to handle items such as prescription refills.


Counseling and Psychological Services:

  • Counseling and Psychological Services are closed for summer break.

COVID-19 Testing:

    • If an individual has medical insurance, OptumServe will bill the patient’s medical insurance company. Uninsured individuals may also use the community test site and their tests will be paid for by the state.
