Humboldt Community Vaccination and Attestation Rates

September 24, 2021 - 5:01pm

Cal Poly Humboldt has achieved high rates of vaccinations and attestations for exemptions, reflecting the campus community’s commitment to health and safety.

  • Students: 98% have submitted and completed their attestation forms. Of all enrolled students, 92% are fully vaccinated. Of all students enrolled in face-to-face classes, 91% are fully vaccinated.

  • Employees: 92% have submitted and completed their attestation forms. Of all employees, 87% are fully vaccinated.

These numbers are encouraging! Thank you for continuing to take the precautions necessary to prevent the spread of illness, which include:

  • wearing masks at all times indoors (regardless of vaccination status), except if you are alone in a private office, or in your residence hall room with the door closed, and outdoors if you can’t maintain a six-foot distance from others

  • vaccinating against COVID-19

  • testing for COVID-19 once a week if your exemption was approved

  • monitoring yourself for symptoms of illness before coming to campus

Please remember that free testing is available, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. for students, faculty, and staff in the Great Hall. There is no limit to the number of tests an employee or student can receive. It’s also important to understand what to do if you test positive. Read through the “Testing Positive” Guide carefully as steps differ for students and employees.

Appointments for vaccinations in the county can be made at or call (833) 422-4255. You can schedule an appointment, or register to be notified when one is available.

Thank you again for doing your part to keep yourselves and your communities safe.
