Help with Technology Needs and Working From Home

March 17, 2020 - 12:35pm

HSU’s Information Technology Services has been working hard to help the campus switch to alternate modes of instruction, and a survey sent to faculty and students on Friday has helped guide the response.

ITS has also launched a new website with resources for working from home.

More than 2,600 students responded to the survey, and more than 600 identified technology needs and concerns. Since then, ITS has worked with the Library to supply laptops to more than 150 students without reliable computer access.

More than 200 students do not have internet access off campus, and ITS is also looking into providing internet hotspots for students who would benefit from that service. Please visit this site for some home internet solutions.

ITS continues to expand Virtual Lab services so students will have access to the remote software they need.

Please visit the ITS website for information about working from home. If you are still having trouble finding an answer, you can create a help ticket here
