Computer Labs and University Center to Close

March 30, 2020 - 2:39pm

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, Siemens Hall computer labs and the University Center will close today at 5 p.m.

Those spaces had remained open to provide students with access to computers and internet so they could continue with classes. As of today, other solutions have been identified:

  • Rural students have been assisted with an arrangement with a cable provider for internet.

  • All students who indicated they needed a laptop have one or one on the way.

  • Students who needed them have been provided hot spots so they can access internet from home.

  • Students who utilized labs in the last several days were contacted directly to ensure they have access to the technology they need to continue classes.

  • Students who have technology needs should submit a help ticket to ITS here.

Current students may access eduroam wi-fi near any CSU campus, including Humboldt State, using their campus credentials.

Please follow shelter in place and social distancing guidelines at all times.
