On-campus Events for the Summer

March 5, 2021 - 9:38am

Humboldt State University will cancel most in-person programs and events that are usually scheduled to take place on campus over the summer to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Events and programs include:

  • Summer conferences and workshops

  • Camps and athletics clinics

  • Recreation programs

Courses that provide academic credit are the exception. The Children’s Center will be open during the summer, as well.

The University will consider granting exceptions for programming that is essential to prepare for the Fall, such as required training.

Those on campus for work or for other allowed reasons will be expected to follow all health and safety guidelines (including social distancing, using a face covering, and conducting daily wellness checks). For details, please review the Health & Safety guide on campusready.humboldt.edu.

All employees are strongly encouraged to consider receiving the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it’s available for your tier. Read the latest on the testing and vaccinations for the campus community.

Please contact your supervisor to submit requests and for more information.
