Additional Booster Clinic on Campus Jan. 21

January 19, 2022 - 9:55am

Student Health and Wellbeing Services is partnering with Safeway Pharmacy to offer COVID-19 booster shots (with the Pfizer vaccine) to students, staff, and faculty that are 18 years of age or older. The booster clinic will be held Friday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. in Nelson Hall East 106.

You are eligible for a booster if it has been 2 months since a Johnson & Johnson vaccine or 5 months since the second Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

Please follow all safety guidelines onsite and bring your COVID vaccination card to verify your eligibility, and so that your booster can be recorded.

As of Jan. 23, all students, staff, and faculty are required to be up to date with their attestation status. This means attesting that you are fully vaccinated (including a booster if eligible) or have submitted for the appropriate exemption. Learn how to submit your booster vaccination status here. Similar to the Fall, exemption from testing weekly will be granted to those that have attested to being fully vaccinated (including booster as of Jan. 23).

Should an individual receive an exemption (even after the first two initial shots) they will be subject to weekly testing. Those who have been approved for a religious or medical exemption last semester do not need to reapply, but they are strongly encouraged to test prior to coming back onto campus.
